(Estr. T. 28). The most important work of the historian, lawyer and teacher Wincenty Skrzetuski (1745-1791), was offered "Political Law of the Polish Nation". In it, the author popularized the picture of the system and laws of the Republic in force before the Four-Year Sejm, promoting the need for further political, social and economic reforms in the noble state. Skrzetuski based his work in part on Gotfryd Lengnich's work "Ius publicum Regni Poloniae," which he supplemented with new political system solutions introduced in the Republic after 1764. The analysis of "The Political Law of the Polish Nation" made in this dissertation makes it possible to conclude that it was a solid compendium of knowledge about the system of the Republic of the nobility, having the characteristics of a political treatise in places. As for Monteskius, for the Polish historian, political law was the branch of law that regulated the system of government. According to Skrzetuski, political law consisted of: the exercise of legislative, executive and judicial powers, public deliberations and the rights and duties of all states, the functioning of various organs and offices, religion, treasury, military, trade, population, as well as treaties and agreements with foreign states. Edition dedicated to J. P. Basil Walicki, Governor General of the Rawskie lands, Knight of the Orders of the White Eagle and S. Stanislaus. Abrasions of the binding, missing title page, browning and traces of flooding on the pages in places. Lit. by Wojciech Organiściak - Wincentego Skrzetuski's "Political Law of the Polish Nation."
