Mieczyslaw Skrudlik (1887-1941) - publicist and journalist, affiliated with the national camp, officer, employee of the intelligence service (II Branch), accused of participation in the conspiracy against Pilsudski.
From the introduction: "The four-year-long, not disguised, campaign of the leftist-Jewish-exbelweder press against me, my imprisonment of many months twice, finally force me to speak out in my own defense. The matters I am writing about do not concern me alone, they form, in my opinion, a contribution to the history of the Legions and our activism, containing new news, raising issues that are less known or forgotten. The purpose of these pages, plucked from the prison diary, I emphasize again, is only to defend ourselves. They were not dictated by hatred or a desire for revenge."
