From July 22, 1917 to August 2, 1918, he was interned in the officers' camp in Beniaminów. At that time he founded the Beniaminów Medical Society, where he gave lectures. He also wrote in the Beniaminow Bulletin. After leaving the camp, he worked as a doctor at the "Saturn" mine in Czeladź.
