Excerpt from the editors:
One would be wrong to think that Sitwa's editorial team overestimates the achievements or underestimates the value of the publication. It is most and typically a soldier's recording of the experiences and aspirations of the broadest different cross-section of the brigade's social organism, and as such, a recording tool, it seems to us to fulfill its role approximately. For it shows from beyond the uniform marching column, a set of coordinated combat operations, the face of a man, with the fullness not only of mechanized ad hoc activities, of soldierly prowess, but also of civic consciousness, animating the totality of efforts, struggles and sacrifices. And if the numerous thanks coming to us from both hemispheres of the world, are often full of words of warmth and closeness is not why else, but because the publishing house also has its own warm heart, capable of feeling and sometimes warming. Sitwa is not a detached, sublime literature, to which there is no pretension at all - it is life itself.
