Volume 1 descriptive missing. The second volume of the architectural work of Sebastian Sierakowski (1743-1824), rector of the Jagiellonian University, author of many Warsaw and Cracow architectural projects, contains a title page and 112 copperplate engravings divided into four parts with separate numbering, depicting architectural objects (columns, roofs, cornices, heads, ornaments, arches, windows, doors, mosaics, bridges, viaducts, stairs, squares, chimneys, vaults, roof trusses). At the end is a fold-out copperplate with a design for a column in honor of the Polish Army. The copperplates, according to drawings by M. Stachowicz, a friend of the author, were engraved by Sebastian Langer. Missing 2 copperplate engravings (in the numbering of the 3rd plate 4 and in the numbering of the 4th plate 11), traces of dampstaining, soiling and browning, page edges frayed with some tears (especially at the folding) and losses, book block loosened, covers heavily soiled with losses. Rare.
