Unique edition, piece NR.88 of 499 pieces numbered on paper fives ivoire naturel. Henryk Sienkiewicz's timeless works "With Fire and Sword", "The Deluge" and "Pan Wolodyjowski", known as "The Trilogy", have been published in one massive volume.
The occasion for the release of this edition was Jerzy Hoffman's film "With Fire and Sword" (1999). The book is uniquely bound in cowhide, printed on art paper bound in the studio of the Art Publishing House in Koszalin r.1999. Seven hand-colored graphics were printed on handmade paper. The edges of the volume were painted by Jerzy Kozimor. The text of the book is decorated with vignettes and baroque ornaments and initials from the period. Dimensions 30.5x23cm; pages 1216. Few scuffs and scratches on the back binding. STRIKING PIECES.
