Aleksander Semkowicz - Polish bibliographer and bookbinder, admirer of the literature of Adam Mickiewicz, senator in the Second Republic. Initiator of the establishment of the Adam Mickiewicz Museum of Literature in Warsaw and in 1950-1954 its first director.
