A 3-volume set of works by the eminent Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller, an outstanding 18th century German poet, philosopher, historian, aesthetician, theater theorist and playwright. He was a representative of the so-called Weimar Classics. In November 1785, he wrote the famous "Ode to Joy."

1ST EDITION.

Published by the State Publishing Institute, 1955.
Format: 200 x 130 mm, 1400 pages.

Complete in good condition (fading of spines, light discoloration of hard cloth binding, minor soiling).
