A four-volume illustrated medical encyclopedia published between 1937 and 1939 in Warsaw. The encyclopedia was compiled by an editorial committee of dozens of physicians and scientists of various specialties, including Dr. Antoni Cieszyński - a pioneer of Polish and world dentistry, or Antoni Dmochowski - founder of the Lodz biochemical school, pioneer of nucleic acid chemistry in Poland. Each volume contains studies of disorders and diseases of successive systems, supplemented by numerous graphics in the text and colorful tables.
