OATH. I, the undersigned, promise and swear by Almighty God on the Holy [!] of His Gospel, that I wish and ought to His Imperial Majesty, my true and natural Most Gracious Great Lord Emperor Alexander Nikolaevich, Self-Ruler of All-Russia, King of Poland and His Imperial Majesty the Successor to the All-Russian Throne His Imperial Highness the Emperor and Grand Duke Nicholas Alexandrovich, to serve faithfully and without hypocrisy [...]. To complete this my oath, I kiss the words and cross of my Savior. Amen. B. m. [ca 1850?].
Double-sided print in Russian and Polish on ark. 33.4x20.7 cm. Rota of the oath of allegiance to Tsar Alexander I. Traces of folding, good condition.
