Essex 1966 by Stanislaw Gliwa Publishing Company. 15x23 cm, pp 81, soft cover with wings. Very good condition.
A volume of poetry by Jan Rostworowski, published by Oficyna Stanislaw Gliwa, known for its high quality editing and beautiful book editions. The design of the linocut cover and linocuts and seven two-color linocuts were prepared by Alexander Werner. The edition was printed in four colors on ribbed paper and bound in "Royal Cornwall Cover" cardstock. All printing work, including the embossing of the linocuts from the original blocks, was done on a manual crucible press. An edition of 300 numbered pieces, here ex. 146.
