Reaction of independence organizations to the oath crisis. 1917.

DECLARATION. Due to the announcement in the official organ of the General-Government of Warsaw [...] of a communiqué on the relations prevailing in the Legions, the undersigned political parties declare as follows: 1) the responsibility for the disorder that prevailed in the Legions at one time falls, in fact, on the occupation authorities [...]. 2) In the deep conviction that the present Polish Positional Corps constitutes a healthy soldierly element [...] the undersigned partisans stand firm in the position that the Polish Positional Corps is to constitute military cadres [...]. 3)The introduction of politics into the army the undersigned partisans unconditionally condemn and fight as vigorously as possible.
