Michał Piotr Radziwiłł (1853-1903). Patron and conservative with the soul of an artist. "Prince Michael had a penchant for literary works, although his work was not distinguished by outstanding qualities. He exhibited - in Warsaw and Krakow - several humorous plays, and novellas and poems of his authorship appeared in the pages of important newspapers and magazines, usually signed with cryptic names and pseudonyms. He also left interesting and valuable, because partly based on documents, historical sketches, including a biography of Helena of Przezdzieckich Radziwill, the last voivode of Vilnius. In 1896-1902 Radziwill published and edited one of Warsaw's leading serious intellectual organs, the monthly magazine Biblioteka Warszawska. After his death, the religious, historical and philosophical reflections The Final Times, written by him, were published, enjoying popularity and reprinted several times."
