Raczynski is a publication of the Polish Scientific Centre in London and the tenth printing of Oficyna Stanislaw Gliwa. [...]. The text, typeset in Plantin 11/13 pt. font on monotypes from the F. Mildner & Sons printing house in London, was largely hand-set at the Oficyna. Offset reproductions of Leon Wyczółkowski's lithograph "Oaks in Rogalin" on the book's facing pages, were made by lithographer Zachariasz Jaworski in London. The author's exlibris was embossed from an original woodcut block by Stefan Mrożewski. The linocut on the wrapper (the wrapper is missing), the design of the gilt on the cover and all the type work was done by Stanislaw Gliwa. One thousand five hundred pieces were rebound on handmade, ribbed paper "Belvedere Antique Laid, Deckle Edged, Ambert." [...]. Twenty pages of inserts with illustrations were rebound on "Vellum Art, Matt" paper for the entire edition. The volume contains two hundred and forty text pages, twenty illustration pages, and a pastedown frontispiece with portrait and facsimile of the author's autograph]. (ZR).
