Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer (born February 12, 1865 in Ludźmierz, died January 18, 1940 in Warsaw) - Polish poet, novelist, novelist, representative of Young Poland. Tetmajer had a several-year affair with highlander Maria Palider, who was the prototype of Maryna of Hruby from Legend of the Tatra Mountains.
