Krakowska Fabryka Drutu i Wyrobów Żelaznych S. A. - "In 1919, the company was transformed into a joint stock company and Wladyslaw Kucharski became the counting shareholder. After 1925, he became the sole owner by changing the company's name to "Krakowska Fabryka Drutu i Wyrobów Żelaznych Władysława Kucharski". After the war, the assortment of products was enlarged, among other things, with iron beds manufactured to the order of the army. Unfortunately, these were not very favorable times for the company. First the difficult post-war years, when there was a shortage of raw materials and machine parts, then the stabilization crisis, and finally the years of the Great Depression, when the indebted factory ceased production. Small-scale production to the order of the CID was undertaken in 1937, with 61 employees at the time. During World War II, the factory was consolidated with other plants."
