Binding damaged: loss of spine, clear rubbing of covers, both clasp handles missing, some pages stained, some with glued margins, traces of woodworm, traces of damp; copy somewhat worn out. Last page missing. Notes, mostly in pencil, on both facing pages. Eighteenth-century psalter of Vilnius. Publication date given according to the Byzantine calendar. Printed in black and red. Cont. "instructions for teachers, instruction on bowing, collected commentaries of the Holy Fathers of the Eastern Church, Psalter, texts of 9 hymns from the Old Testament [...], a set of 12 psalms sung by hermits, prayers for the dying (canon for the separation of soul from body). An edition for Old Believers" (Zhuravinskaya). On the plate (placed after the 2nd sheet of the second numbering) a woodcut portrait of King David with a book in his hand.
