Raczynski Stanislaw (1903-1982) - painter, graphic artist, stage designer; studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, supplemented his studies in Paris and Italy; was a stage designer for the theaters of Krakow and Poznan; worked mainly in woodcuts, remaining under the influence of W.Skoczylas; most often took up figural and architectural themes (numerous woodcuts depicting St. Mary's Church in Krakow), which he subjected to decorative stylization.
