POEMES FUTILES - this is the 38th publication since 1940 in Nice in the establishment of Samuel Tyszkiewicz dedicated as a tribute to French bibliophilia. A magnificent work of the Polish trio of Jan Malczynski, Samuel Tyszkiewicz and Konstanty Brandl.
A unique, rare and interesting item. On the pre-title page a dedication from Malêczynski:
"To the Dear Master in sincere friendship...".
On the last page the signature of Samuel Tyszkiewicz.
Issued in 260 numbered pieces - this one without a number, but with a unique printer's inscription "Exemplaire de Constantin Brandel".
All on handmade paper, original wrappers and case preserved. Wonderful liner notes, illustrations.
