A trilogy set in Minsk Lithuania from the spring of 1918 to the summer of 1919. The novel describes the daily life of Minsk's semi-literate community. As the author wrote in the introduction to the book: `The protagonist of the novel, Alexander Baran, is an authentic character. He came from Vilnius and that was his name. He was actually executed in the summer of 1919 in Minsk on Komarówka. Melins, thieves - they are mostly authentic. The adventures are 50% real. There is a lot of fantasy, but nothing from a vacuum. Everything was created from something I experienced in prisons or at large.
