Wraps slightly dusty, inside good condition. Ex. uncut. The book grouped articles scattered across periodicals, giving readers a comprehensive view of the author's programmatic thought. It unified the guiding ideas of the new literature becoming the "bible of the avant-garde". The volume contained 56 texts written in 1922-1929.Almost all of them were previously published, the source of reprinting was provided by the author each time under the text. The exceptions were only two articles printed for the first time(Breaking Up the Formations and Comism, Wit, Metaphor), the Conclusion, written especially for this volume, and the author's Additions to four articles. On the front cover, an anonymous typographical composition (attributed by some researchers to K. Podsadecki). Includes, among others: The city, the mass, the machine, The metaphor of the present, The way of rhyme, Art and the proletariat, Futurism, In Bauhaus, Pure form in theater, New forms in printing, After the first issue of Zwrotnica.
