Wrappers slightly rubbed and soiled, soiling of title page, last page partly yellowed. Handwritten dedication by Gen. Jędrzejewski to painter Stanisław Batowski. Major General Władysław Jędrzejewski (1863-1940?) died at the hands of the Soviets in 1939 or 1940; Stanisław Kaczor Batowski (1866-1946) was a well-known battle painter associated with Lviv.
