*TheBazan Brothers' Bookstoreand Note Store was very popular in interwar Bydgoszcz. It boasted a great location at the intersection of three streets: Pomorska, Gdańska and Dworcowa. During World War II, all Polish bookstores were closed, and many booksellers were arrested. Later, the establishment passed into the hands of a state enterprise operating under the name Centrala Obrotu Księgarskiego "Dom Książki." One of the Bazanski brothers was killed during the war. The other began working at the House of Books after the war. ( after https://rynek-ksiazki.pl/aktualnosci/koniec-ksiegarni-bookbook-w-bydgoszczy/)
