This bibliophilic publication is the first attempt to document the manor and park complex in Luslawice, rebuilt by the musician artist, who gave it the hallmarks of his own creation. In the space of the Luslawice garden, Penderecki built a labyrinth - a figure both real and symbolic, to which he compares his creative path. "In it I feel safe," he explained, "I retreat, I find other paths. I leave it reluctantly. It is also here in Luslawice that the music closest to me is created: symphonies written for years and chamber music - my musica domestica. Here I escape into intimacy, into a world close to silence - and it seems to me that I get closer to the essence of music." (Krzysztof Penderecki)
