First published in 1780-1786, the work covers the period from pre-historic times to the wedding of Jadwiga and Jagiello in 1386. It is the first fully scholarly study of Polish history, enriched with a number of issues from cultural history, law, social and economic history. Obsolete ownership stamps in several volumes. In vol. I four maps are missing, in vol. VI two pages after conservation and restoration of missing pages without damage to the text. Discoloration of paper in places. Overall good condition, rare in the set.
