Kazimierz Morawski - Polish classical philologist, historian, professor and rector of the Jagiellonian University, president of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, candidate for the office of President of the Republic of Poland. He was awarded the Order of the White Eagle. Kazimierz Morawski's academic interests included Roman rhetoric, Roman history and topography, Hellenism, Polish-Latin literature, Polish cultural history, and the history of Jagiellonian University. He enjoyed the fame of the world's most prominent expert on Roman rhetorical style.
