(Estr. T. 22). First Polish edition. Vol. 3 of Monteskius' most important work "On the Spirit of Laws", and one of the basic works laying the foundations of the ideas of the Enlightenment. The offered volume 3 contains supplementary texts: "Memoir on Monsieur Montesquieu", "Miniature or Dissection into Small Parts of the Book of "The Spirit of Laws" and "Defense of the Spirit of Laws". The title page is missing (there are 3 mid-title pages) There are some scuffs to the binding, rust spots on the pages in places and a trace of woodworm.
