Wieslaw Dymny met Barbara Nawratowicz in the 1950s, with whom he fell in love with each other and remained in a relationship for the following years. Years later, Nawratowicz described the relationship as "turbulent, violent and somewhat toxic." "Wiesio, in a state of alcoholic fits of jealousy, hit me in the larynx with a heavy ashtray." Kazimierz Kutz, in turn, recalled that it was a relationship full of attachment and jealousy. Nawratowicz founded, together with Dymny, the "Remiza" cabaret at the "Under the Lizards" Club.
