Citizen's Militia appeal to the public for help in apprehending the "Zagłębie vampire" operating since 1964, assaulting women, many of whom did not survive the attack. The text on the leaflet describes the murderer's modus operandi, recommends a course of action when encountering suspiciously behaving men, and provides contact addresses for the militia. The Vampire of Zagłębie - a serial killer operating in the Zagłębie and Silesia regions between 1964 and 1970, whose fatal victims included 14 women. He acted from sexual motives. Zdzislaw Marchwicki, who was arrested in 1972, was found guilty, the court gave him the death penalty, and the sentence was carried out. The case is still controversial today, according to some researchers, an innocent man was convicted.
