Adam Mieczyński (b. 1828, d. 1892) - Polish agronomist and popularizer of agricultural knowledge, encyclopedist.
He founded and edited "Gazeta Rolnicza". He was the author of many guidebooks for farmers, including the work Beginner Farmer.
He was one of the authors of the entries to Orgelbrand's 28-volume Universal Encyclopedia of 1859-1868. His name is listed in Volume I of 1859 in the list of contributors to the contents of this encyclopedia.
