Polish national epic with famous, award-winning illustrations by painter and sculptor Jozef Wilkoń, who brings to life the world of "Pan Tadeusz" with a spot of color and a fanciful line. The artist did not recreate the content of the work, but instead illustrated the romantic landscape of the poet's childhood: large trees and lush vegetation, in which people and animals are almost lost. Through his graphics, Wilkoń sheds new light on the reading of the work saturates it with irony and a dark atmosphere, full of uncertainty and longing. An item known from the school canon gains a different perspective, worth (perhaps repeated) reading.
