Who was Antoni Ferdynand Ossendowski?
Antoni Ferdynand Ossendowski is a colorful figure of the interwar period. A chemist by education, a traveler by passion, a writer by talent. He visited many countries and continents, but above all he wrote books that enjoyed great success around the world and were the result of his travels.
After World War II, he was condemned to oblivion for his overly harsh criticism of the Soviet Revolution (during which he almost died himself). His life was shrouded in mystery, which Witold Michalowski seeks to uncover.
