"Sketches on the Tatra Mountains" by J .Marchlewski, a prominent leader of the Polish working class, otherwise an avid mountaineer, are published in Polish for the first time. They constitute a series of articles that, under the name Aus der Hohen Tatra [From the High Tatras], were published in 1911 in the German newspaper Leipziger Volkszeitung, the theoretical organ of German Social Democracy.
