"Memories of the Grajewians..." is a series of books containing authentic records of memories of residents of the Grajew land. The presented book includes the records of Albin Maksimowicz. In the 1920s he served his military service in the 9th Horse Rifle Regiment. After its completion, he started a family in Bialystok and was involved in social activities there. He spent the September campaign with one of the supply columns of the Provisional Squadron of the 9th PSK. After it ended, he was taken prisoner - first by the Soviets and then by the Germans, from which he returned in August 1945.
He was motivated to write his memoirs by a conversation with Father Gisztorowicz of St. Roch Parish in 1977.
