It presents documentation and iconographic material (plans, drawings, photographs, reconstructions, inventories, designs, etc.) illustrating Polish gardens and garden layouts (manor houses, palaces, castles, monasteries, bourgeoisie, suburban, etc.) collected since 1954 by, among others, the Department of Landscape Architecture of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, the Department of Theory of Architecture and Urbanism of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Inter-University Department of Fundamental Problems of Architecture, Urbanism and Construction.
