Mączyński (1807-1802) - writer, historian and theater entrepreneur, author of the three-volume "Pamiątka z Krakowa". "Włościanie" is one of the most interesting publications by this author, "containing detailed folklore descriptions, from which O. Kolberg later introduced whole portions into his monograph 'Lud'" (PSB). On the plates, hand-colored copperplate engravings depicting the inhabitants of Cracow and the surrounding area (including a highlander and a highlander woman).
