Unpaginated dust jacket, unpaginated stains on card covers. Walery Łoziński, pseudonym Walenty ze Smolnicy, (1837 - 1861), Polish writer and publicist. Known for his love of dueling, which contributed to his untimely death. Lozinski's tombstone in the Lychakiv cemetery was funded by the sale of his novel "Czarny Matwij."
