Doctoral dissertation dedicated to Stanislaw Orzechowski(1513-1566), canon of Przemysl, historian, ideologue of the golden freedom of the nobility and the movement for the defense of the rights of the nobility. The author - Jozef Lichten alias Lichtensztul (1906-1987) - a Polish lawyer, diplomat, historian and publicist of Jewish descent, worked for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs until 1945(initially at home, during the war for the London government), after 1945 settled in the USA, where he joined the Jewish Anti-Defamation League (ADL), where he was director of the Department of Interreligious Relations and worked for dialogue between Catholics and Jews.
