The book presents the biographies of the Rev. Brig. Gen. Ryszard Paszka and 67 other chaplains of evangelical denominations in the Polish Army, who with their pastoral service brought care to the living, cared for the wounded, buried the fallen, and some of them gave their lives for the fatherland. This richly illustrated book contains previously unpublished documents and materials found in family and military archives. As a guide, it is a source of knowledge about the life and ministry of the first chief evangelical chaplain in a revived and independent Poland and his colleagues and successors, up to the present day.
The publication contains numerous photographs, illustrations, representations of coats of arms, prints of letters and documents, and maps.
