One-sided letter on consulate letterhead, form. 28x20.5 cm. Letter without signature, bearing the consulate's seal, addressed to Marian Czechowski in Częstochowa. In response to an inquiry, officials inform that enrollment in the Foreign Legion cannot take place outside France. "Volunteers must travel to France at their own expense and risk. At the border, they will be escorted to the nearest enlistment office, where they can sign a contract after being examined by a doctor." Folding mark, good condition.
