Smechaæ - satirical and literary illustrated weekly. It came out in 1924-1928 in Leningrad and Moscow. All issues appeared 48, contained an average of 16 pages including numerous color illustrations. It addressed the problems of workers and peasants, economic issues and religious questions. He sharply criticized speculators, bribers, thieves and bureaucrats. In the literary section it published poetry and short stories (the first issue contained poems by Vladimir Mayakovsky). One of the most important tasks of the magazine was international propaganda, whose satirical blade was turned towards the enemies of Soviet policy, and this main enemy was often Poland.

Traces of non. soiling and edgewear. Good condition. Noteworthy is the first page titled: Bright Economy, with an illustration of a mustachioed Polish minister speaking from a lectern bearing the image of the Polish Eagle.
