The catalog consists of 3 volumes, each of about 400 pages, showing all known and hitherto unknown varieties of Stanisław August Poniatowski's pennies from 1765-1794 from the Warsaw and Cracow mints (including coins with the date 1795) and Prussian coins, which were in general circulation on a par with ours, as well as counterfeit coins from the era. The manner and numbering of the cataloged varieties matched the numbering of Plage from "Coins minted in copper..." and "The period of Stanislaw Augustus...". Catalogued, described and shown in photographs with detailed analyses of each variety with as many stamp variants in each variety as possible. A total of about 360 varieties and 1,400 variants were cataloged. The work on the catalog took more than 10 years, and since its completion there has been only one new variety - a hybrid - from the combination of the already known reverse stamp with a slightly different obverse stamp than those already cataloged.
