Tadeusz Gronowski- Graphic artist, painter and illustrator. In 1917-25 he studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology. He studied painting techniques at the École Supérieur des Beaux-Arts in Paris. As a graphic designer, he collaborated with magazines, including "Skamander" (from 1920) and "Życie Literackie" (from 1924). He designed advertisements for many companies, including Wedel and Orbis. His advertising placards are excellent examples of the art deco style. In his paintings of the late 1950s, he referred to the aesthetics of Cubism. In the late 1960s, he created abstract, geometric compositions.[source: Desa.pl]
