Initially a monthly, later a weekly, published in 1945-50; in 1950 the weekly was merged with the weekly "Odrodzenie" as a result of this merger the weekly "Nowa Kultura" was created. The editor-in-chief - Stefan Zolkiewski, Zofia Nalkowska, Mieczyslaw Jastrun, Jan Kott, Adolf Rudnicki collaborated with the magazine. The cover was designed by Eryk Lipinski. The issue contains translations from Russian poetry of poems by Boris Pasternak, Ilya Erenburg, Anna Akhmatova, among others.
