Krystyna Zywulska was a Polish writer, journalist and publicist of Jewish descent. She wrote satires, columns, epigrams and limericks. She made her debut in 1946 with her memoir "I Survived Auschwitz." The book is a record of harrowing memories of life in a death camp. The memoir has been translated into English, German, French, Russian and Czech.
