Two volumes, 3008 A4 size pages in total, hardcover with extra case, a richly illustrated catalog in an exclusive edition issued for the centennial of the American Numismatic Society. The catalog, in addition to an alphabetical description of coins from all over the world, has several useful additions to facilitate coin/country identification, including an alphabetical list of names of world currencies/monetary systems (past and present), enlarged photos of coats of arms and monograms and an alphabetical list of abbreviations (legends) appearing on coins, a list of mints and graphical charts of coin sizes. The Poland section, in addition to circulation coins, presents proof coins minted since the times of Augustus III, Stanislaw Augustus, the Second Republic - including clips or commemorative mintings, the interwar Amrogovich trials, the People's Republic of Poland, as well as contemporary times with a presentation of their images and mintages.
