Empireum 72; Banach 762. spine repaired (old glued on new), light rubbing of cover corners, local staining and characteristic browning inside, otherwise good condition. On the front pasteboard a sticker: "Bookstore and Storehouse of Nót Seyfarth and Czajkowski in Lviv". On the card behind the front pastedown a handwritten, calligraphic dedication dated 27 II 1885. Woodcut plates, within pagination, according to drawings by Andriolli, engraved by E. Gorazdowski, J. Holewiński and others, decorative initials by the same author. On the first plate a portrait of Kraszewski and a facsimile of his signature. Publisher's binding (red cloth) made by R. Gerhold (signed on front cover) and J. P. Bösenberg (sticker on back cover) in Leipzig.
