[KORFANTY Wojciech, WASILEWSKI Zygmunt]. Two letters addressed to an unnamed professor regarding the writing of a newspaper article, dated. Oct. 30, 1928 in Katowice (Korfanty) and Oct. 31, 1928 in Warsaw (Wasilewski).
Korfanty's letter: one-sided typed letter on ark. 22.3x17.8 cm. In the upper right corner printed: "Wojciech Korfanty". The author of the letter agrees to the conditions proposed by the professor and expects an article, asking at the same time that "Mr. Professor arrange the thing in such a way that the article will not appear earlier in 'National Thought'". Under the text, handwritten signature of Wojciech Korfanty.
Wasilewski's letter: one-sided handwritten letter on ark. 21.3x13.5 cm. Letterhead of the editorial office of "National Thought", whose editor-in-chief was the sender of the letter. He writes about a troublesome issue: "Korfanty will announce the article on the 11th, we will leave on the 15th. We will not survive (with our ambitions) the suspicion that we reprinted a thing from a daily newspaper." He therefore suggests that Korfanty receive a truncated version of the article from its author, and that the title of the variant printed in National Thought be changed. Under the text the signature of the sender.
Condition of both documents good.
