"King Matt the First".
The book tells the story of a little boy, the son of a king. After the death of his father - the ruler (his mother had already died), Maciuś becomes king himself. At first dependent on ministers and etiquette, he is treated like a spoiled toddler. However, he wants to show that he is brave like his ancestors. When war breaks out in the country, Matthias, with his friend Felk, disguises himself as an ordinary soldier and goes to the front.
