Juz', literally translated as "part" or "division," is one of the thirty parts of variable length into which the Qur'an is divided. In this case it is Juz'7, corresponding to Sura Al-Ma'idah. The volume, measuring 24.5 x 16 cm, contains 13 pages, 11 of which are handwritten pages with beautiful Arabic calligraphy in dark ink; the Arabic script is translated into Persian in red ink in double register. The text is enriched with a beautiful "Unwan" painted in natural colors and opening chapter. Ayat. verses, are marked with rosettes in green. The text is complete. Leather binding with embossed palmetto decoration on the edge. Owner's stamp on colophon.
